Mike Lenti, Director of Business Development - Defense Sector and Board Member of Celebrate Freedom Foundation

Mike Lenti is a highly experienced compressed air systems engineer and industrial energy optimization specialist with more than 35 years of experience in engineering, energy management, and industrial systems performance. A graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Economics, he has dedicated his career to helping industrial facilities improve operational efficiency, system reliability, energy performance, and production through advanced compressed air system optimization.

Throughout his career, he has held engineering and leadership positions with Springs Industries, Duke Energy, Patton’s, Inc., and Airloom, LLC, where he is the founding owner and principal engineer. His expertise includes the assessment, design, retrofit, installation, commissioning, and optimization of complex compressed air systems ranging from 2,000 to over 15,000 horsepower, including extensive experience with centrifugal and rotary screw compressor systems.

Recognized nationally for his expertise, he was selected in 1998 as one of the original instructors for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Compressed Air Challenge program. He is also MSHA certified and earned AirMaster+ certification in 2009, scoring in the top three percent of all examinations completed.

Over the past 28 years, he has completed more than 500 comprehensive compressed air studies across a broad range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, mining, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, power generation, pulp and paper, steel, semiconductors, and manufacturing. His international project experience spans North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia, supporting major organizations such as Boeing, ExxonMobil, Honeywell, Daimler Truck, Texas Instruments, Kimberly-Clark, Duke Energy, and Northrop Grumman.
